The last two weeks

With less than two weeks left of my maternity leave, I decided to start a blog.  I may be crazy but I'm doing this while Silas is playing contently in his Exersaucer.  I cannot believe how quickly time has flown by with my little baby.  It really does seem like yesterday that Silas was born and Josh and I were in the hospital enjoying the newest addition to our family.  My little guy is already 10 weeks old!  His personality is starting to come out and so are the smiles along with the drool!!

Treasures Alongside the Road

Silas in his Exersaucer

I do have to say that this Exersaucer was the best find along side the road we have ever seen! We were just talking about how we should get one but brand new they are expensive.  Then driving home from the vet that same day, we saw one sitting in someone's front yard with a free sign!!! What a perfect surprise just sitting there for the taking.  As my first ever "free item" find that I acutally wanted, I was hesitant about taking it....Was this too good to be true? Am I cheap for taking someone's trash? Guess this is where the saying "someone's trash is another man's treasure".  Since I was still a little embarrased about wanting to take this new toy for Si, I made Josh get out of the Envoy and load it up. Thank goodness no one drove by, but after looking back I am proud of this find. Once we got it home and washed it up - it works just great! And I cannot complain about the price!! Silas loves sitting in here, even though he is still a little small and doesn't get how to use his arms yet to play with the toys - it still is fun to watch him gaze at the toys and smile.

I need to stop stressing out about going back to work and wondering if we are making the right decision and remember Matthew 6:34. Such a good verse to live by, but don't forget the verse right before it.

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33
